Two electric cars, one 200 A service
The owners of a chalet in Sainte-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson, in the Laurentians, wanted to charge two electric vehicles on site. Their 200 A service did not leave enough room for two chargers on top of the chalet’s existing loads.
The solution: a 320 A service entrance
We upgraded the service entrance from 200 A to 320 A: new meter base, new main panel and a sub-panel dedicated to the chargers. The work was coordinated with Hydro-Québec for the reconnection.
