The project
Groupe Dynamite chose VAR Électrique for the electrical fit-out of its new Dynamite store at Promenades St-Bruno, on the South Shore of Montreal. After four months of hard work, the store was delivered without delay.
From the plans to the conduit runs
The job started on paper. Our team spent time on site planning the conduit runs, the lighting circuits and the service drops before the first pipe went up. That preparation is what allows a retail fit-out to move fast once the general contractor opens the ceilings.
The conduit was then run throughout the space to feed the sales floor, the fitting rooms and the cash area.
Lighting that shapes the store
The design of the store relies heavily on light: LED coves in the ceilings, arched niches lit from the inside, wall sconces along the fitting room corridor and LED strips that outline each doorway. Every fixture had to be aligned and connected precisely for the architecture to read as intended.
The result
